To construct a high-capacity power substation, equipped with state-of-the-art transformers, switchgear, and control systems, was the goal of this project. This endeavor was particularly challenging, involving various tasks such as piling foundations, pile capping, and constructing the superstructure. To establish a reliable power supply, extensive electrical infrastructure, including power lines, cables, and distribution networks, were implemented to connect the substation to different parts of the refinery. The Dangote Group's Power Substation Project at the Dangote Refinery in Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos, signifies the company's unwavering dedication to operational excellence, energy efficiency, and the overall development of the community. With the primary goal of ensuring a stable and sustainable power supply for the refinery's operations, this infrastructure initiative will significantly benefit not only the Refinery complex but also the local community and the surrounding region.
